Step into the world of early American diplomacy in this compelling evening that brings history to life through the insights of one of America’s most principled statesmen. Featuring “John Quincy Adams,” this program explores the enduring relevance of his diplomatic legacy, from his early service as a teenage envoy in Europe to his authorship of the Monroe Doctrine and his tenure as Secretary of State and President. Through vivid storytelling and thoughtful reflection, Adams will share lessons on integrity, negotiation, and the delicate balance of national interest and moral conviction. Presented in collaboration with The Williamsburg Institute (TWI), proceeds from this fundraising event benefit TWI and the Osher Institute at W&M.
