Scholarships are funded in part by the Osher Foundation and are available on a limited, competitive basis. To qualify, applicants must be 50 years of age or older with an annual adjusted gross income of less than $50,000.
The scholarship must be used toward the semester’s membership fee. The cost for an annual parking permit (if needed; currently $17) and/or additional fees to cover in-class materials, transportation, etc., as well as event fees, are the member’s responsibility.
Effective with the 2023-24 academic year, scholarship applications are accepted only during a 30-day window prior to the semester. This window typically opens two months prior to registration.
The application period for Spring 2025 scholarships is now closed.
Applications for the Fall 2025 semester will be accepted June 1-30, 2025. Applicants will be notified of their status via email by July 15. Click here for the Fall 2025 scholarship application when it opens on June 1.
(NOTE: If the scholarship application page displays as “not started,” “inactive” or “expired,” the application process has not yet opened or has ended for the upcoming semester.)
