Scholarships are funded through the generosity of The Bernard Osher Foundation and are available on a limited, competitive basis. To qualify, applicants must be 50 years of age or older with an annual adjusted gross income less than $50,000. Proof of eligibility may be requested.

The scholarship funds apply directly toward the semester’s membership fee. Successful applicants are asked to contribute $25 toward the balance of the tuition. The member is also responsible for the cost of an annual parking permit (if needed; $17 for 2025-26 academic year) and/or any additional fees for class materials, event admission or transportation. 

Applications for Fall 2026 scholarships close on July 31, 2026. Successful applicants will be notified by email in early August. The Fall semester runs from September 14-December 11, 2026. 

Scholarship applications for the Spring 2027 semester are accepted October 1 - November 30, 2026. Check back when the online application opens in October.*
