Scholarships are funded through the generosity of The Bernard Osher Foundation and are available on a limited, competitive basis. To qualify, applicants must be 50 years of age or older with an annual adjusted gross income less than $50,000. Proof of eligibility may be requested.

The scholarship funds apply directly toward the semester’s membership fee. Successful applicants are asked to contribute $25 toward the balance of the tuition. The member is also responsible for the cost of an annual parking permit (if needed; currently $17) and/or any additional fees for class materials, event admission or transportation. 

The application for Spring 2026 scholarships is closed. Spring applicants will be notified of their status via email by December 23. Applications for Summer scholarships are accepted April 1-30, 2026 only.  Click here for the Summer 2026 scholarship application when it opens on April 1.*
